About Jairo Gonzalez HVAC
Back in 2022, I'd been in HVAC for over fifteen years. I'd walked into hundreds of homes. And in almost every single one, I'd notice the same thing: the family sitting in the living room was too hot, or the bedroom was freezing, or the system ran all day and the thermostat still wouldn't settle. When I asked, most of them just accepted it. 'That's how it is,' they'd say. But it wasn't acceptance—it was resignation.
The contractors they'd hired before me treated every house the same way. Install the cheapest unit that fits the square footage. Run the ducts where they're easiest to run. Get to the next job. Nobody looked at *this* home's layout, *this* family's needs, or where the real problems actually lived. I kept thinking: there has to be a better way. That's when I decided to start something different.
My first few jobs out on my own, I spent twice as long just sitting with clients and asking questions. Where do you feel uncomfortable? When? What have you tried? What bothers you most? Some people thought I was slow. But what I was really doing was diagnosing the real problem, not guessing at it. One family had a brand-new system installed six months before. Three thousand dollars. They were still miserable. Turns out the design didn't fit the home's square footage at all, and the return air was pulling from the wrong place. We fixed it. They cried—actually cried—because they could finally sit together in their living room without someone sweating.
That job showed me why I started this company. It wasn't about installing equipment. It was about solving the problem nobody else had bothered to really understand. We never cut corners because a rushed job doesn't actually fix anything. We go above and beyond the minimum because the minimum is what got people where they were in the first place.
'People matter more than the sale. If we listen—really listen—the right solution becomes obvious.'
— Jairo Gonzalez, Founder
Being honest up front costs nothing and saves everything. Early on, I'd walk into a home where someone had been quoted ten grand for a whole system replacement, and after thirty minutes of questions, I'd realize they actually needed ductwork fixes and a smaller unit swap. I quoted half that. Some contractors would think I was leaving money on the table. But I was building something else: trust. Those clients came back. They referred their families. Word spread because they'd seen someone actually care about their wallet and their comfort at the same time.
We learned that treating people like family is the only way this works. When someone lets you into their home, listens to your advice, and trusts you with the air they breathe every single day, that's not a transaction—that's a relationship. We show up on time. We explain what we're doing and why. We use quality materials and equipment because cheap stuff breaks, and we'd rather not be back here six months from now making excuses. We provide solutions, not problems wrapped in better language. That's what locally owned means to us—we answer to the people who live here, and they know our name.
We come in, we listen, we look at what's actually happening in your home. We tell you what we find, what we think will work, and why. No pressure, no upsell, no making things sound more complicated than they are. We'll customize a solution that fits your home and your needs—not the other way around. You'll notice we show respect for your space, answer your questions the first time, and follow through on what we say we'll do. Mostly, you'll notice you're finally comfortable in your own home.
That's what we're here to do. If you'd like to talk about what's not working in your space, give us a call. We'll listen the same way we have for years.
